Project 3. Day 18. Sound of Music.

These last 2 days I've been on sound duty. I've tried out and done the sounds for the Dullahan death, attack, anticipation sounds. As well as wraith sounds. The wraith sounds are not set in stone since we have not fully agree / came up with how they should sound. They need to be distinct from one another while still fitting to the enemy and be an overall good sound.


I've also been trying to get a sound for our golden torches. Whether it's a sound for when your're getting healed or when they appear or if they should "emit" a sound around them it's hard to determine right now. We need to test it out in game so we can see what fits.


Overall the project is coming along nicely. We are working on our shader for the Room obscuring, so we don't see the rooms that we are not inside. It's taking some time but it's gonna look good in the end we think. Michelle is working on vegetation for the greenery and Martin is putting together our map in Unity. We designers are all over the place right now. We are trying to learn the mechanics of the "puzzle editor" again, we are managing people, making sounds, reiterating on the rooms, creating the tutorial area etc etc.


By tomorrow I should be done with all the sounds we currently have recorded so I can focus on fixing the last puzzle rooms as well as fixing the tutorial in Unity.

So starting the day we have more and more unity crashes. We can basically not work at all it feels like. The programmers have found...
