So after the alpha presentation last Friday we have things to do. We got some feedback from the teacher regarding lack of feedback on hit for both characters and players. We already knew that and that was not something that we had time for due to our crashing problem. We barely got a running version for the alpha version at first. But we got all the essential parts I guess and it was okay. I think we got the least amount of critique out of the 3 groups though.
This week I need to make more sounds for the remaining enemies, door sounds, some sort of positive and negative reaction sound I think is needed as well. And I will try to learn the puzzle manager in unity as well when I have time. Our lead programmer who knows all that stuff is home sick today so I have managed to do some alternative version of sounds we have already as well as written some Internship letters to some studios. Since I still am in desperate need of one. This is one thing that is really stressing me out. Since we don't have a lot of time left here and I have had 2 chances but both of them have gone to other designers who also got another interview and got so on. So I have that weighing me down a bit.
See what else needs to be done this week. I think it's mainly getting puzzles in order. Since we need more work done from the programmers regarding our enemies before we have real game play. We have one enemy that is functioning somewhat at the moment and that is the Banshee.
I'm guessing we will have some meetings as well since that is something that always popping up as a designer.
Here have a picture of one of my cats! Everyone loves cats!
