This morning one of our environmental artists said that he had made our mansion in blender according to my blueprint that I finished right before we left for the day. But when I put it into Unity the scaling was huge for me. But not for Martin who made it. So we had to figure out what the problem was and it was some hidden scaling thing in blender apparently. It took some time but we sorted it out. He also have to remake some of the props to make them the same size.
I have started putting our puzzle rooms into the blueprint picture to kind of see what makes sense and how they would feel and look on paper. We also tried out the level when the scaling was fixed and we really like the size of the mansion so far. The only thing that needs to be fixed is the tutorial area. I made it too small on the blueprint so we need to increase the size in the actual project later on.
We also had a meeting with our music producer. We talked about the different music for the different "districts" that we are going to have in the mansion. So we will have an overall score with different instruments that blends into each other when you transition between them. As well as incorporating the battle music somehow. But the music he have made so far is very good and I have high hopes!
Tomorrows work will be creating more puzzle rooms and searching for some sounds to use for the game.
