Today we've been in discussion all morning now up until 14 o'clock. We've been having a hard time cutting most of our rooms out of the question. Since we can only have a start of 6 rooms. We put some serious thought into them regarding how the room is built. Diversity, gameplay feel , needed input from our environmental artists as well. At first we were just us designers and we had a hard time cutting the rooms out. We liked almost all of them. We talked up until 11.30 before we dragged our artist into our call to get their thought on them.
These are a collective picture of the rooms we had to chose from.

The next pictures shows which rooms we ended up cutting out.
The orange circles are stretch goals. The 2 oranges circles on my pictures were "cut" out because there are too many props that is needed in those rooms to make them look good. So if we get the "normal" rooms done fairly quickly because they are using the same assets. So hopefully we can get the bar and my greenery room in at a later stage. Emils room I kinda forgot why it's circle marked in orange but I think it's because it had windows in the walls to give more options for ranged strategies. But we have that in one of my rooms that we are implementing so I think we were gonna add that one at a later stage as well.
We were going for 2 kind of Special rooms. 3 normal rooms and one hallway room.
For the rest of the day I don't really know what I'm going to do. Since we have chosen the rooms now I can't really make any more. I guess I'll manage the backlog, and be a consultant the rest of the project. Jokes aside I don't really know what happends next so I'll have to talk with the other designers.
