Project 2. Day 30. Testing testing hello.

Today has been a day of testing and discussions so far. Nothing of importance really took place. It was basically a continuation of the augment testing, I've entered the numbers that I feel is good enough. Then we've had some discussion with the artists... They have now tested the game and they are expressing their thoughts and they've found bugs and things that we are all aware of. It's good that they notice but they have not been in the loop, neither have they read our buglists it seems like cause they spend a lot of time writing down stuff that we already now. And some particular individual had some concerns/critique/ whatever. Basically saying that the game is bad because of reasons, that it does not feel good to play since he cannot choose how he wants to play it. It's a roguelike. You cannot choose, you have to adapt with what is given to you.

We got some flack that we don't have enough augments regarding the melee. Like we had soo long discussions about this and it's really hard to make stuff with the melee since it's really hard to make or implement new things now. And we have increased damage and attack speed, we have some knockback, we could probably increase the knockback as an augment but then you cannot pick more of the same, well you could but you don't want to knock the enemies back through the entire level. Later in the afternoon we had a long talk and "finalized" the numbers for the augments, they are not really final but those are the numbers that we are gonna continue testing with from now on and see how they feel. And tomorrow we are gonna push them to the latest build so everyone get them and don't have to manually fix everything everytime something changes.
