Project 2. Day 28. Three weeks left.

So this morning we talked with the music / sounds guys. They wanted more feedback from now if they are gonna be able to work properly from now on since they are gonna more reworks of sounds. We gave some remarks regarding the main theme, some parts needs to be reworked / removed since they are repeating, annoying or just doesn't fit.


So last Friday we got some feedback from the teachers as I think I wrote about in the blogg. The teachers are worried that we won't have enough time based on what was shown in the beta presentation. Which I completely agree on. We are missing so many art assets such as enemy models, and most of the animations, we had no sounds implemented.


But we've had our problems. With artist beeing burned out, not feeling it, sickness and problems that have delayed things. I really feel stressed that the game we had in mind is beeing slowly but surely wittled down to something that is not the same. And the game is so dark at the moment since the level overhaul thingy and it really hurts my head to look at, like no joke.


So I'm torn on what I should do and how. Right now we are suppose to figure out what numbers we would want for the augments, what percentage chance, damage scaling, angles on the splitshot etc. I just feel so out of it today. Our discussion with the music people and trying to give Mr music man to get what part of the song we wanted to be removed and he didn't get what we were telling him, even though we posted timestamps and descibed it in detail and he still did not know what we meant...oof. And now as I'm writing this the artists are having a big meeting about workflow or something. It feels like this meeting should have happend some weeks ago now. I hope that it's not too late for them to make things better... God I hope tomorrow is a better day cause this day has been a s"#! show!
