P1; D9: Smile for the "camera"

Skribentens bild: Daniel AnderssonDaniel Andersson

Yesterday Michelle out llama artists made a picture of the entire group that was really cute! On her free time that is.

Back to business, Chris(programmer) got some help from his programming teacher getting some classes together for our game so we can put more llamas into it. He was here for quite a while actually. Helping with the pathing of the enemies, he got some help from our artists. They way we fixed the pathing was that Martin(artist) put joints in the pathway in the order they were going to walk. So that the enemies could "find" them in game and just follow the order they were placed/ named ( i don't know really) but they walk in the intended way now at least and that is fantastic!

Now he is going to focus on the shooting mechanic a bit more since that apparently was really tricky to get right. The idea is that the projectile should follow the intended target until it hits. But it either follows really slow but correct or really fast but then misses entirely. It somehow tries to calculate the position the enemy is going end up depending on speed or something and that in correlation with the projectile speed was not working as we wanted to.

Back to out artists. Martin and Daniel W is working on the modular workflow with the stones still. But that was done now and they are gonna start filling out the levels with the stones that they made. As well as making new things such as trees and bushes and other things to make the level not so bland and empty.

Johan and Michelle is going to work on rigging and weight stuff. For the first llama and tourist.

So they can start making the first animation.

Me and Jonathan are going to... Well I'm not entirely sure yet. I'm writing this at the moment and it's not even lunch time yet. We are fixing some stuff in the GDD and maybe will record some sound effects for the game, fix more in the unity prototype to manage balancing.

So starting the day we have more and more unity crashes. We can basically not work at all it feels like. The programmers have found...
