P1;D20: RED ALERT!!

So this mornings stand-up meeting came with some sad news. Last week when we got Agnes she said that we can only have 32 animations in Tengine. And that the animations counts as unique animations and not how many of the animations are on the screen.

TURNS OUT. That that might not be the case, at least not for us at the moment. Considering we have 30 animations with only the enemy wave when it spawns is a big issue. So we need to fix that problem right away, either with code or some other way.

I really hope that we can circumvent this somehow. It's not a good start to this morning, the last day of the last week. And all I can do as a designer right now is watch it all happen it feels like. I have no idea what I can do to help. I would do some research if there were any information at all online on this engine. But hey.


A few hours has passed and we got some help with the animations. The number of animations part of it all is sorted hopefully now. BUT, now we have a problem with the death animations going through I don't really know the problem but it's being worked on. The one thing we need from the art department right now is a projectile that looks nice. Since we don't have any at all at the moment. Apparently our placeholder spit is gone for some reason.

So we made a new one that is going in. So the projectile needs to be coming out of the mouth of the llamas in game which they don't right now. They come out of the chest but that is being worked as well as a few other things.

Next week is the end of our first project. We have our presentations, final push and polish of the game. I really hope we have something to show that works..
